ImageBasedHighlights is a highlight compression tool that allows for the effect to be driven by an input image along with some controls for creatively tweaking the look.
I know footage to practice with can be hard to come by for up-and-coming compositors so I've decided to share the denoised plate along with an example script for this which can be downloaded here.
