With projects shot on film or cameras with global shutter, rolling shutter doesn't come up that often. However, sometimes it can in those fringe cases. I had an idea to simulate the effect using a TimeBlur node and some masking to see what results I could achieve. These is a very niche solution to a very niche problem, this was more a task of "Why not?" as opposed to "Why?"
